*caused by Procainamide, Hydralazine, Isonizid.
*anti histone Ab is characterestic
* these medication causes lupus like syndrome w/ multiple organs involvement BUT renal & CNS involvment are rare.
*these medications Dont aggravate primary SLE
*clinical manifistations retern to normal after the offending drug is withdrawn

Joint aspiration may yield valuable information and may relieve symptoms. It must be performed using sterile techniques to prevent the risk of introduction of infection into the joint. In this case, over 40 ml effusion was aspirated from the knee. The effusion was not purulent, and the presence of large numbers of mononuclear cells on microscopy was consistent with the diagnosis of OA.
